Also this year Cocci Luciano Srl has attended Conxemar 2013, the historical Galician exhibition for fisheries and aquaculture, which was held in Vigo from 1 to 3 October. The fair is a meeting point in one of the most important fishing ports in Europe. Since its first edition held in 1999, the event has been more and more successful among exhibitors and visitors, growing steadily every year until reaching its current size, with an exhibition area of 31,500 m2.

This year gave us the opportunity to meet new international realities where to develop interesting opportunities in the shellfish packaging and aquaculture fields. We also had the pleasure of receiving the visit of our customers, friends and historical partners, strengthening ties and paving the way for new types of synergies. Visitors to our booth were able to observe the operational functioning of some of our best products, including a new type of vibrating grader for shellfish, designed with an extremely robust frame and structure.

In total, 24,220 people visited the event this year. The organization noted that the professionals who visited Conxemar 2013 came from 84 countries around the world, highlighting a greater presence in Brazil, Denmark, France, Portugal and Italy. Most of the exhibiting companies have had the feeling that economic activity is recovering from the crisis of recent years, noting generally greater optimism in the market.
