Also this year the historical Galician exhibition for the fisheries and aquaculture, Conxemar 2015, closes its doors. The fair was held in Vigo 5 to 7 October, and we participated in bringing some of our most innovative machinery. The fair is a meeting point in one of the most important fishing ports in Europe. The last year the fair attracted exhibitors from more than 90 countries, confirming itself as one of the reference events for the sectors of aquaculture and of the marketing of molluscs and seafood.

The "queen" of the fair was definitely a special version of our automatic packaging machine Economy Bag Trace, designed specifically to work with extremely fragile products. This special model mounts four special "cushioning" systems, in order to treat the shellfish to be packed with the utmost care and attention. Broight to the exhibition for the second consecutive year, even the volumetric doser has been the subject of interest on the part of many fishermen and mussel farmers from all over the world, who appreciated the reliability and robustness of its mechanical construction. All machines at the fair had already been ordered by customers that were visitors to our stand and that could not wait to start working with their new technologies.

This has been the edition with more exhibitors in the history of the Galician fair, collecting thousands of industry stakeholders who have taken advantage of conferences and exhibition spaces to strengthen relationships with their suppliers or customers, and to establish new contacts for the future . Conxemar 2015 closed its seventeenth edition with 27,005 entries, with a 3% increase from the previous year. Visitors came from 105 countries around the world, eleven more than last year, with a strong presence of operators from Portugal, Italy, France, Netherlands and the UK.
