Also this year we have attended Conxemar, the Spanish fair of frozen prodcut, which has been held in Vigo from 3 to 5 October, where we have brought important technological novelties. This fair, though mainly dedicated to the frozen product, because of its position has become an unmissable annual event for all the local operators involved in fisheries and aquaculture.

In particular, we have exhibited a particular kind of bin tipper - suitable for different bin sizes, a tumbler brushing machine especially designed for clam cleaning, sand removal and for the opening of the so-called "blind" clams, and a manual bag closer with thermal printer having a guide suitable for two different formats of tag labels. These simple but important innovations meet the growing need for customers to have flexible and efficient equipment while maintaining the robustness and reliability that characterize our machinery. Of course, the latest version of the Economy Bag automatic packing machine for live shellfish, which has become the gold standard for this industry, has also been present at the fair.

During its 19th edition, Conxemar has recorded more than 31,000 entries - thus increasing the visitors flow by 4% over 2016 - and hosted 611 exhibitors booths from all over the world. Though most of the people present at the exhibition came from Spain, Portugal, Italy and France, we had the pleasure to meet in out booth our customers and friends from Holland, the UK and Ireland. There has also been a lot of interest in our technology solutions by South American companies, especially from Chile, Peru and Venezuela.
