The 35th edition of the French national shellfish fair has been held again at the Parc Chorus in Vannes, Brittany, this year from 9 to 10 October. This exhibit was initially dedicated exclusively to oyster farming, but over the years the event has become a reference point for measuring the status of shellfish farming in France, hosting exhibitors who offer services and technologies for clam and mussel farming and packing.

This year we have shown a brand new model of mussel debyssing machine, a half-way version between the small SB1, designed for restaurants and fisheries, and the SB4, designed for large-scale industry. With its capacity of 1,000 kg of product per hour, the new SB2 is the right compromise between productive and financial efficiency. We also exhibited the latest models of the 2-cell weighing belt and the manual bag closer with thermal printer, designed for semi-automatic packaging in bags of all types of shellfish.
